The Big Rapids Middle School and Mecosta-Osceola Education Center Peer to Peer Program is a reverse mainstreaming program in which general education students will interact with special needs students for the benefits of both parties involved. General education peer buddies will travel to the MOISD Education Center to help the peer buddies with both social and academic goals. General education students will commit to the Peer to Peer Program for a trimester. The program will have both a field experience component and a classroom component where students will be learning more about various disabilities and tools for aiding students with disabilities. This program promises to be one filled with valuable learning experiences and lots of FUN!
